Tonight's Entrée: Pesto Pappardelle! Chef Nick at Arugula creates for us his fresh basil pesto with pecorino romano and extra virgin olive oil and we pair it Severino's amazing Pappardelle (a long wide pasta cooked to al dente perfection - Chef Nick recommends a wide pasta to carry the pesto properly). Topped with pine nuts and Claudio's grated locatelli romano cheese.

Tonight's Entrée: Gnocchi Bolognese! Chef Nick at Arugula creates for us his classic Bolognese sauce (which originated in the Italian city of Bologna - where Italians go when they want to eat well) made with ground veal and pancetta with San Marzano tomatoes, red wine and marscapone cheese. We pair this with Severino's wonderfully light Gnocchi (fresh pasta made from potato flour.) *Severino's Pasta Note: In English, the name "gnocchi" translates to "lump," a surprisingly inelegant description of these pillowy delicacies.
